Morpheus 8 Before & After

Morpheus8 is a cutting-edge fractional skin treatment which stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the skin. This treatment targets the deeper layers of the skin, resulting in the reorganization of the building blocks of the skin.  

This procedure is minimally invasive, safe, non-surgical, and is accomplished by using a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime.

RF (radio frequency) energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled manner which revitalizes the collagen. The treatment improves skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance, a natural anti-aging treatment.

Morpheus8 can be used on any area of the face or body that would benefit from skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, and refined contouring.  Morpheus8 also treats scars, acne , acne scars, stretch marks and cellulite.

 Depending on your particular needs and desires, 1-3 treatments are typical. Morpheus8  Treatments are permanent, but skin continues to age consistent with lifestyle and genetics. Skin needs to be encouraged to continue to create new collagen and elastin in order to maintain a youthful appearance. Therefore, subsequent treatments may be recommended every 12 -18 months as part of a rejuvenation maintenance plan. 

Some tightening will be visible immediately. New collagen and elastin formation begins after about 4 weeks, and becomes most noticeable about 3-6 months after treatment, and continues to improve up to a year.  

 The benefit of Morpheus8’s color blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated safely. 

 A Morpheus 8 treatment takes approximately 1-2 hours. The first hour is for prep and numbing.  We use a topical numbing cream to numb the area and minimize discomfort.  Depending of the size of area, actual treatment time is 30 minutes or more. During the treatment you will feel heat and pressure on the treatment area. 

▪ Pacemaker or internal defibrillator, or other metallic or electronic implant anywhere in the body. The Hand piece should be used at least 1cm away from cochlear implants in the ear. 

▪ Permanent implant in the treated area such as metal plates, screws and metal piercing or silicon, unless deep enough in the periosteal plane. 

▪ Intra-dermal or superficial sub-dermal areas injected with Botox®/HA/collagen/fat injections or other augmentation methods with bio material, before the product has been dissipated (up to 6 months), except Botox after binding to the facial muscles (3-7 days). It is possible to treat sooner over injectable products placed in the deep, periosteal plane, as soon as the area has healed (1-3 weeks).

▪ Current or history of skin cancer, or any other type of cancer, or pre-malignant moles in treatment area. 

▪ Pregnancy and nursing. 

▪ Severe concurrent conditions, such as cardiac disorders or sensory disturbances. 

▪ Impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV, or use of immunosuppressive medications. 

▪ Patients with history of diseases stimulated by heat, such as recurrent Herpes Simplex in the treatment area, may be treated only following a prophylactic regime. 

▪ Poorly controlled endocrine disorders, such as diabetes or thyroid dysfunction and hormonal virilization. 

▪ Any active skin condition in the treatment area, such as sores, psoriasis, eczema, and rash.

▪ History of skin disorders, keloids, abnormal wound healing, as well as very dry and fragile skin. 

▪ History of bleeding coagulopathies or use of anticoagulants in the last 10 days 

▪ Any facial surgery performed within a year prior to treatment. 

▪ Facial dermabrasion, facial resurfacing, or deep chemical peeling within the last three months, if face is treated. 

▪ Having received treatment with light, laser, RF, or other devices in the treated area within 2-3 weeks for non-ablative procedures, and 6-12 weeks for ablative fractional laser resurfacing (according to treatment severity) prior to treatment, except special recommendations. 

▪ Use of Isotretinoin (Accutane®) within 6 months prior to treatment. 

▪ Use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS, e.g., ibuprofen-containing agents) 1 week before and after each treatment session

▪ Treating over tattoo or permanent makeup to be kept. 

▪ Treating over the lips.  

▪ Treating over hair bearing surfaces.

▪ Irritable skin like excessively tanned skin from sun, tanning beds or tanning creams and sprays within the last two weeks 

A complete treatment series package is done 1 treatment every 4-6 weeks.  A  total of 3 treatments per treatment area for best results. After care salve included with treatment.
